State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL)

The U.S. Department of Education/Offices of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services/Rehabilitation Services Administration (DOE/OSERS/RSA) determined for the distribution of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Independent Living (IL) Part C Funds ($1,782,143.) allocated to Centers for Independent Living (CILs) in Arizona (AZ) that the AZ 2008 SPIL needs to be amended.

The Arizona Rehabilitation Services Administration (AZRSA) and the Arizona Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC), in collaboration with the AZ CILs, have drafted amendments as requested by DOE/OSERS/RSA.
